As a peri-menopausal mother of teens I have personal experience of the struggle with metabolic issues that comes with this stage of life.
I’VE BEEN THERE AND I UNDERSTAND YOUR STRUGGLE
Over the past few years, I’ve embarked on a personal journey, using myself as a test case to explore and experiment with different ways to combat my symptoms, such as fatigue, weight gain and digestive issues.

Questions People Ask Me In Clinic
My days are so busy already - will I even have time to fit this in as well?
I’ll be honest with you, transforming your health takes time and self commitment so you will need to set aside 75 minutes for the initial consultation, as well as 45-60 minutes for bi-weekly follow-up consultations and time each week to read the educational materials I will provide you with. For my programme to be effective you need to be ready for change and willing to do what it takes, including cooking meals with fresh, whole ingredients.
How is the Metabolism H.E.A.L. Programme structured?
The first step is an initial 1:1 consultation with me where we will discuss your New Client Questionnaire and Food and Lifestyle diary. You will then receive your Nutrition Action Plan so you can start putting the personalised recommendations into action. You will also have access to relevant educational materials on your online portal which you can read at your convenience. We wrap up the programme with one last session in week 16.
How do I know if your Metabolism H.E.A.L. Programme is right for me?
My programme is not suitable for you if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have a serious health condition such as liver or kidney disease, epilepsy, major gastrointestinal issues or an active cancer diagnosis, or if you are under the care of a psychiatrist then you should discuss your health issues with your GP. Additionally, I am unable to work with anyone who has a diagnosed eating disorder.
Are there any other ways to work with you?
Whilst my Metabolism H.E.A.L. Programme is my signature programme, I do offer clients the chance to work with me in other ways.
My Metabolism Reboot programme is a short 6-week programme for clients who want some gentle support to achieve their health goals. It’s an ideal programme for those without any significant health issues, who want to reboot their metabolism, improve their energy levels or to kickstart weight loss.
There are also options to work with me on a bespoke basis depending on your individual circumstances. Please get in touch to find out more.
What makes your programme different from other health programmes that I’ve seen online?
The Metabolism H.E.A.L. Programme is a unique programme tailored to your specific needs by a qualified Nutritional Therapist, and unlike many on-line health programmes, includes personal 1:1 consultations. It also contains regular accountability sessions to keep you on track, and a personalised Nutrition Action Plan that addresses your specific health needs. You also receive a wealth of targeted educational materials that you can access via your own online portal. Because of this you get faster results, and are more likely to achieve your health goals.
Won’t it be just too hard to make changes?
You may find the thought of making changes to your diet and lifestyle daunting, but it’s far less of an ordeal than you think when you have the right support and guidance to show you the way.
I’ve tried many diets and health plans over the years and nothing has ever worked. Why will it be different this time?
You don’t need another diet, but you do need a new way of eating for a healthy future - a plan that has been created and personalised just for you - and is backed up by the accountability and coaching support that will make it work for you.
Are you able to do any testing?
I use a wide variety of functional tests to get a better understanding of the root causes of your health symptoms. Find out more about the functional testing that I offer here.
Do I have to take supplements?
No, of course not. I try to let food do the work as much as possible but if, during my health assessments, I determine that you have nutrient deficiencies that may be impeding your health, then I will discuss supplement options with you.
Why do you offer packages rather than single appointments?
If you have complex health goals you are less likely to achieve the outcomes that you are hoping for if you see me on an appointment-by-appointment basis. This is because life gets in the way, consultations get cancelled, and you can lose momentum to make effective and long-lasting changes to your diet and lifestyle. But when you have the support, accountability and motivation that working with me on a Nutritional Therapy programme offers, you are much more likely to be successful.

Where do I start?
Book a free 20-minute chat with me using the button below. This will allow use to ‘meet’ to see if we are a good fit and for me to assess how ready you are to make changes. I also need to ensure that it is the right time for you to begin your health journey with me. If I don’t feel that my way of practicing is a good fit for you then I will recommend another registered practitioner or health resource.
I see that you offer DNA testing. Can you tell me a bit more about it?
I use Lifecode Gx DNA testing that looks at how nutrition and other lifestyle factors impact how your genes function. You can’t change your genes, but you can change what you do to support them and DNA testing gives you an understanding of how your life choices (nurture) interact with your genes (nature), so you can make positive changes that align with your genetics and optimise your health and wellbeing.
By assessing your individual genetic code through specific DNA tests, along with targeted conventional diagnostic markers, a comprehensive health history, and analysis of your diet, lifestyle and environment, DNA testing really is the next step in personalised medicine for optimal health.
Please be assured that the DNA testing that I offer does not look at any inherited genetic disease risk.
